I'm getting many complaints about the color scheme. Who else wants to change it? What should I make it like?

OK I joined just to offer some advice and maybe join the game once you explain the rules and get some more members.
Yes there is a problem with you color scheme there are far to many colors and they cause confusion here are some tips to keep in mind.
Choose a background color. Now choose a color on the opposite side of the spectrum to be the secondary color.
Since you have blue a light orange would make a good second color.
Lime green is a horrible color for any background but black. Choose a dark color that will show up on the bright blue or a color on the opposite side of the spectrum again orange would work nice see.
Also if it is not beyond you make your own theme and change the default pictures to make the board more you own. Go to the proboards support board to learn how to do this.

OMG... I can't even see the link that I posted. lol. well, good luck.
Personally Proboards isn't the best software... but they are certainly the most convienent. Just beware of these forum memebers... they have the resources to take over if they want to.
